About the Position
Newington College is offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and efficient Admissions Coordinator to join our highly accomplished Admissions team on a permanent, full-time basis, commencing as soon as possible.
Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Coordinator will work within a team of four staff members, supporting a broad range of admissions activities across all Newington College campuses, including the Early Learning Centre, Lindfield and Wyvern Preparatory Schools, and Stanmore Secondary Campus.
The successful candidate will assist with general admissions responsibilities while providing support for marketing initiatives and event coordination. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who demonstrates excellent customer service, a high level of technological proficiency, and a strong sense of confidentiality and problem-solving skills.

About You
We have deliberately not provided a narrow set of selection criteria, but the successful candidate is expected to:
have experience in admissions or a similar role within an educational setting.
- have a proven record of delivering excellent customer service in a personable and professional manner
- demonstrate the ability to handle pressure, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining professionalism
- handle various types of information with absolute confidentiality and sensitivity
- enjoy working and collaborating with different teams and stakeholders within and beyond the Newington community
- demonstrate problem-solving skills and a flexible approach to an ever-changing environment
- possess an advanced level of competence with databases and data analysis, experience in Synergetic and/or EnrolHQ databases would be advantageous
- exhibit a positive attitude and commitment to high-quality service
- understand and adhere to the College’s Child Safeguarding policies and practices
- contribute to the continuous improvement of Child Safeguarding at Newington.
