Providing a unique two-to-three-year program for young people in Years 10 to 12 we aim to seamlessly blend senior education and vocational training to engage young people in purposeful learning experiences with real-world industry relevance.
About the role
At The Industry School, no two days are the same which is what we love here. We pride ourselves on being deliberately different and you will be a champion of this. Reporting to the Head of Brand, we are seeking an innovative Marketing Manager for an exciting new role at The Industry School.
The position is pivotal in the strategic promotion of The Industry School, both internally and externally, through advertising, marketing and communications. Adapting and delivering on the brand strategy for The Industry School, you’ll ensure that stakeholder communications are aligned with the brand and enhance The Industry School’s reputation.
Key Outcomes
- The Industry School brand embedded in current and new Schools, and well understood by our people, customers and the market.
- Representation of the brand is strong and consistent.
- Campaigns and other resources accurately reflect our brand and promote the School.
How will your typical day look? We are seeking someone to –
- Manage the execution of a media plan for all campuses, in consultation with the Head of Brand and within budget, and raise relevant purchase orders
- Lead a system-wide media and PR strategy to drive brand awareness, enrolment growth and community engagement
- Work closely with the Head of Brand to execute brand campaigns that contribute to growth of enrolments and brand awareness
- Develop and implement marketing and communications plans for six schools (and growing)
- Work closely with external agencies to continue to evolve and elevate our brand
- Manage content and creative development – bring your creative flare!
- Manage internal and external communications including the development of The Industry School’s biannual magazine
- Commit to The Industry School identity and maintain strong brand integrity across all marketing initiatives and communications
About You
- To be successful in this role you will bring the following skills and experience:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in marketing – proven management experience would be a bonus
- A degree in Marketing or Communications
- Demonstrated brand awareness and clear understanding of the importance of building a strong brand identity
- Advanced written communication and presentation skills, capable of distilling ideas and communicating these persuasively
- Ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Valid driver licence & right to work in Australia
- Ability to demonstrate The Industry School values
