The Educate Plus Empowering Success International Conference was the total package – great location (I’m not biased!), great speakers, great networking and great social opportunities. When that converges it can only make for one sensational experience!
From the very first presentation by Mark McCrindle, the tone was set! We heard about connection, purpose and belonging, we spoke about vulnerability, honesty and transparency and that making mistakes is part of the learning.
We also learnt that WOMBATS stands for Waste of Money, bandwidth and time and Libbi reminded us that diversity is a gift!
I’m not sure about you but my heart is full as is my cup! I feel so blessed to be part of this community and this industry and this Conference just strengthened my passion to make Educate Plus the premier industry membership organisation!
With an event of this magnitude, there are so many people to thank. Firstly, to the incredibly hard working and dedicated Conference Committee who have been your most ardent advocates of learning! Our Directors of Fun, Sage at your service and Honcho here to help!
To the speakers who have literally come from all over the world to share their immense experience and talent – thank you! Your Senseis, your Gurus and your Maestros.
You elevated our profession.
To our Platinum Partner, Blueboat, our Gold, Silver and Special Event Partners and our 80 Exhibitors – without your support we simply would not be able to produce such a superb Conference. Our Dilemma Fixers, Problem Solvers and Solution Architects. My deepest wish is that the time spent here has been valuable and fruitful and that our community continues to engage with you well beyond the Conference. All you have experienced this week has been seamlessly orchestrated and managed by our wonderful Educate Plus Team – you make my heart sing every day and I am so grateful for what you do and how you do it!
We are a volunteer-centric organisation and I sincerely hope that never changes as it is our greatest strength. We have over 100 volunteers who serve on Chapter Committees and who guide our organisation through the work they do on the Board. I’d like to acknowledge them specifically as they work so very hard to make Educate Plus great.
