Fundraising Webinar: Plan the Approach to ask for a big gift

The ask for a big gift starts with the preparation to ensure you don’t hear a ‘no’.  This session will introduce you to a powerful tool called “Plan the Approach”.  This tool is used for figuring out how best to ask our donor for a gift, identifying what we know, what we don’t know and what the gaps are.  It is a tool that informs your Meeting Plan and it provides a readiness score to help you assess your approach.

This session will be attractive to Fundraisers as it is a 50 minute practical walk through of an Approach Plan, with you using one of your donors for your exercise as we progress.  During the session you will be guided through the seven criteria, how to evaluate current status and what is needed to better prepare. You will finish the session with a clear Approach Plan for your donor or donor prospect, complete with a ready to approach score out of 70.

Key Takeaway:

You will conclude the session with a tool for planning a donor approach, filled out and with a readiness score.  This will equip you to deploy the Approach Plan immediately and to commence working on your TOP 5 to be approached.
