Hiya! I’d also love to follow this thread as we are doing some similar work at the moment within our school.

    Hi Amy,

We’re a large community too, with 2,500 students and over 400 staff, and we’ve recently switched our student badge supply to the PW Collection, who are also sponsors of Educate Plus. We order generic metal badge shells in bulk, featuring our crest and five different designs for each of our Houses. Separately, we order custom-engraved brushed sticky nameplates, which we adhere to the badges ourselves.

This approach has been a game-changer for us, streamlining our processes and achieving better economies of scale compared to regularly ordering custom plastic resin badges in small quantities. The nameplates have a quick turnaround of about a week and are quite cost-effective.

If you’d like to see photos or examples of our badges, feel free to reach out.

    Good luck!

    Hi Wendy,

Coincidentally I’m currently working on updating our College Honour Boards! We are a modern school (only 15 years young so also sought to do something modern when we implemented these. Hence, we have gone with acrylic boards with a ‘frosted look’ encompassing our House logos & branding for each relevant area. We then have our signage company add each student’s name in vinyl cut lettering. I will be happy to email you some photos/examples if you like.

    Thanks,
    Maddi

    Hi Wendy,

We have a permanent page on our website with traffic guidelines and expectations for our community. We keep this updated regularly and often refer to it in our newsletters and social media, especially around busy days / large events or if issues arise.

    The page is: https://www.nazareth.org.au/college/safer-communities

    Good luck!
