Each year for the School’s anniversary we have a cake cutting ceremony and guest speaker at assembly. Following assembly, all students receive a slice of cake. We usually have a nice display cake for the photos and the students are served portion of Sara-lee slabs. For our 120-year anniversary we also designed a special logo, gave out pins to all students and staff and did a big focus in our b-annual school magazine.
Hi Stephen, I’m from Ivanhoe Girls’, and we hire out our Performing Arts Centre, classrooms, pool, lecture theatre, tennis courts and gym. These spaces are primarily hired by community groups, language schools, and local primary schools during term breaks or after school hours. Our Functions and Venue Hire Coordinator manages venue rental enquiries, as well as our internal school event/function setup and catering requirements.
