Are you passionate about education and skilled in fundraising? St Peter’s School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Advancement to lead our fundraising and development initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in the future of our school by securing financial support, building strong relationships, and driving strategic growth.

Founded in 1936, St Peter’s has a rich history of support through philanthropy and operates within a community dedicated to achieving the best educational outcomes for all. This is a new role with the chance to bring your expertise to establish the Advancement Office and deepen engagement with our community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive engagement and fundraising strategy that aligns with the school’s mission and long-term goals.
  • Fundraising & Campaign Management: Lead all fundraising efforts, including annual giving, major gifts, capital campaigns, and planned giving.
  • Donor Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, alumni, parents, and community members.
  • Communications & Marketing: Collaborate on marketing strategies to support fundraising efforts and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Grant Writing: Identify and apply for grants that support the school’s initiatives and programs.

We seek a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (not for profit management, business, communications).
  • Proven experience in fundraising and donor engagement, preferably within an educational or not for profit setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
