Your Role – Philanthropy Manager (Giving)

Working alongside the Senior Philanthropy Manager and the Director, you will be key in developing and maintaining major donor relationships ($50,000 to $1 million). Your primary responsibilities as the Philanthropy Manager will involve overseeing various philanthropic campaigns aimed at supporting the university’s strategic plan and priorities.

In our supportive office culture, you’ll not only attend meetings and events but also actively participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute your insights to various initiatives/projects. This role is your opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping the narrative of philanthropy at our vibrant institution.

What you’ll bring to this role

• Graduate qualifications with five years of experience in marketing, communications, and/or fundraising (higher education experience preferable).
• Proven success in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding significant donor relationships across individuals, corporate entities, and trusts/foundations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including group presentations and meeting leadership.
• Exceptional writing abilities, crafting persuasive communications, proposals, and cases for diverse audiences.
• Commitment to building and maintaining relationships, coupled with expertise in high-value philanthropic strategies, tax laws, and privacy compliance following CASE guidelines.
