David Botha

David Botha has extensive experience in leading diverse and multi-disciplined teams, defining brand and marketing strategies, and spearheading growth initiatives. With an internationally diverse portfolio, David has experience working across several industry sectors.
Starting his career as a Brand Manager at MCC (Lord’s Cricket Ground) he was a key player in defining a refreshed approach to promoting the Lord’s brand, using brand alignment to rejuvenate employee culture and reposition the retail product mix and customer-facing operations. During his time there, he was also instrumental in creating a sub-brand for the meeting and events business – winning the London Venue of the Year award. Since then, David has worked as an Account Director at the International Trend Institute and as the Sales and Marketing Director for a 500 store Coffee and Bakery Franchise in South Africa. Since arriving in Adelaide, he has worked as the Brand and Marketing Manager at the University of Adelaide; Marketing Manager at the Department for Industry, Skills and Innovation and now as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Westminster School.
David is passionate about defining brand propositions and using these as the DNA for any marketing and communications initiatives. With a keen interest in digital technologies and he adopts a customer centric approach to deliver acquisition and retention strategies.
