DECEMBER 2018 11 2018 Educate Plus Excellence Awards sponsored by Newcomer Award - School DELWYNNE HAHUNGA, TAURANGA BOYS’ COLLEGE, NEW ZEALAND Delwynne has developed relationships with local traditional media as well as additional print and digital media. She has made significant savings for the College implementing a high number of all of the Government and Syndicated contracts. Delwynne has liaised closely with key stakeholders including the Old Boys’ Association Executive, Arts Council Trust, Titans Sport Trust and Trustees and the Tauranga Boys’ College Charitable Trust. In the area of Finances and Funding she has made improvements to our Tauranga Boys’ internal processes and practices which are having a positive impact. Nominations are made through the Chapter Presidents. JOHN COLLINS, DIRECTOR - BUSINESS REVELATIONS John has been an exceptional contributor to Advancement within his school, his region, the Queensland Chapter, and Educate Plus as an organisation. John joined Educate Plus in 2007 while he was working at Nambour Christian College (NCC) as the Director of Marketing and Community Relations. He recently retired from his role at NCC but continues to be involved in Educational Advancement through his consulting role. John encapsulates everything the Trevor Wigney Award represents – he has been a Chapter Committee member, has widely and generously mentored practitioners in Queensland and across the Educate Plus membership, he has served on the Board in various roles including as Chair and continues to support, encourage and inspire members through presentations and personal interactions. John not only is a knowledgeable and very experienced Advancement practitioner but his capacity to engage and empower Educational Leaders to support their staff has become a hallmark of John’s consultancy.
